About me

I’m Nick. I’m a husband, a father and i’ve been working as a trainer for just over a decade.

After a decade of playing team sports, I was looking for a way to heal my body and find new, fun and interesting ways to use it. Over the years this led me through various movement modalities and systems to enjoy and understand how the human body moves.

From gymnastics, martial arts, circus, traditional strength training, biomechanics, physiotherapy and little bit of everything else.

My philosophy

My primary focus is in helping others improve their overall health and function, rather than simply burning calories or building muscle. The human body is incredibly complex and adaptable, requiring more than what traditional “fitness culture”, modern lifestyle, or any single training system can offer.

I have adopted principles, movements, and training protocols from many systems to provide the most well-rounded training for my clients.

I aim to build a base of strength, mobility, skill and movement quality to allow my clients to express their physicality in whatever way brings them joy, meaning, and fulfillment.

It is my firm belief that physical training and practice is a powerful tool for self-development and transformation that should be approached from a place of excitement and gratitude over a sense of inadequacy or shame
